Michelle Miller
B.A. history in art
B.F.A. visual arts with a triple major in painting,
drawing and printmaking.
Michelle began her teaching career in 1996 and since then has taught
art to all ages both locally and internationally. Her own work has
been shown internationally and is part of private and corporate
collections throughout the world.

Kate Carson
B. Ed.
Kate is trained as a teacher and moved into art because she loved
it. She has been teaching locally and internationally for 12 years.
She has been a practicing artist for 10 years. Kate has shown her
art on Vancouver Island as well as in Indonesia.

Irma Soltonovich
B.Ed., working M.F.A. One year towards doctorate in Art Education. 5 years experience teaching high school art.

Michael Leger
Michael's creative experience is in stage and film as a sculptor
and scenic painter. He has worked on such films as X-Men, Alien
vs Predator, Chronicles of Riddik and other sci-fi
movies.
He has also taught sculpting to kids at the Cedar Hill Rec Centre,
Gordon Head Rec Centre, Saanich Common Wealth Place, and Willows School.
In his classes, students will learn the basics of sculpting, starting
with a base and metal armature. They will complete a 3-D sculpture
with various colours of clay.

David Alvarez
David studied with Michelle Miller for 10 years and is now going
into his second year of art at Camosun. He has been an assistant
art teacher for the past year with Kate and Michelle.
